Hi guys,
Hope you are all well. Can't believe it is already February and that Valentine's Day has been and gone!
Since my last blog, things have been moving along very well. In March i will be travelling to Edinburgh for the SPARQS National Conference. SPARQS is the Scottish version of Student Reps but the training and guidance is run on a National Level by them.
They have many good practices that i feel i can learn from so that we can improve our system even further.
I have sent out the Student Voice survey which received a healthy amount of responses and gave a valuable insight into whether Student Reps feel their voices are listened to by the University.
I will be using this information as the basis for my proposal to the University for more investment in a staffing and financial sense.
We also have the SUBU elections which are next week to be preparing for so it is a busy time ahead for all in the Students' Union.
